Zoey

Aka; Zozo, Zo, Furball
To the naughtiest, smartest, loudest, beautiful bad dog I’ve shared my life with; we miss you more than words can say
Zoey was the first Cavalier I ever shared my life with and she did a fantastic job of introducing me to the breed. She was the first purchase I made for myself when I moved home to Ontario from the Arctic. She was incredibly smart and naughty, and I often joked that she was a border collie stuck in a Cavalier body. She liked playing ball but adored her frisbee. She always had a ton to say and was incredibly bossy and opinionated. Her favourite party tricks were opening cupboards, and zippers on suitcases and bags. She never missed an opportunity to investigate visitors’ purses and luggage or have a wild time with toilet paper and trashing the bathroom. My main floor bathroom remains closed to this day because Zoey trained us well. She was a lot to live with but had a larger-than-life personality and you couldn’t help but laugh at her antics.
