The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Canada’s (CKCSCC) health and education committee has put together a completely awesome and very practical, two-pocket folders.
We are selling these folders as a fundraising initiative. In my house this type of folder has been used for just about everything. Veterinary records, resume’s, school projects, meeting minutes, they are just so handy to have around.
All proceeds from the sales of our folders go into the CKCSCC health and education committee’s general health fund.
The CKCSCC health and education committee is responsible for many health initiatives in our breed including:
- Ongoing Mitral Valve Disease research and diagnostics. Started in 1993, this initiative has provided many pet owners and breeders with expensive diagnostic testing, and researchers with important data regarding MVD.
- Offering lower cost MRI’s to breeders in partnership with Matheson Blvd. Veterinary Services to assist with the high costs associated with screening for chiari malformation, syringomyelia and PSOM.
- Donating to CKCS research projects and initiatives worldwide.
- Funding older cavaliers to be scanned for the genome project.
- Organizing educational seminars for breeders of all types of dogs to attend, on topics such as reproduction and genetics.
To show just how awesome these folders are, I am giving away folders to readers of this blog. In addition to the folder I will include a snood in your cavalier’s favourite colour.

I fondly refer to my followers as “creepers” over on the sidebar.

You do not have to be a resident of Canada to enter. That is the nice thing about snoods and folders, they are fairly light to ship! Thanks for asking though, I definitely didn't make that clear in my post so I have edited it.
I would use this beautiful folder to keep all Rhetts records in and take on visits when he is therapy dog certified.
First I have to tell you as soon as I saw all your girls together I thought, "Oooh I need a Cav in every color too!" LOL
But the folder is great, and for a great cause! I wold use it at work to keep all my new class rosters in. It looks like I'm going to be co-training some next month and I'm putting together my training binder. I think a Cav folder would be just the thing to keep me organized!;)) Although I think if I put Magnus in a snood he may disown me and run away.LOL What fun! A great idea Marybeth!

I would love to have one to keep all my foster records in. I have a generic one from Walmart that is completely full!
That's a great cause. Anything to help with the breeds' health issues is worth it.
I would use the folder to keep Kendall's Delta Society paperwork and the new AKC Therapy dog paperwork in between visits.
I would give it to my mum so she can keep her cavalier papers in it for her girl cassie and boy winston.
I would use the folder to support Cavaliers rather than Walmart. I would keep my NEW puppy's records in it.–Elin

I would use the folder to keep my Izzie and George's records. I carry around their vet records, vaccination and agility records at each of our shows and it would be lovely to be able to do so in a very fashionable way ๐ !
I love the folder! It is super cute! I would use it to keep all Fino's and Rouky's papers. They tend to get lost here… ๐

Love the folder ~ SO regal and gorgeous! I would use it to hold Cleopatra's (Cleo) very important papers! She actually could use one of your adorable snoods, because her ears are always in the way when it's time to eat! (We usually give them a little twist and tuck gently under her collar 'til breakfast or dinner is over!)
And, of course, LOVE supporting Cavalier health and education, as we lost our beloved Indiana Jones this past January to MVD. We miss him dearly, but his wonderful spirit lives on! รยขรยรยค

Well I already have four but I'll tell you what I use them for. We just went on a trip and I put our passports and the dogs vaccination records in it. I keep each dogs registration and health information in one – another I have for unfilled training sheets and course maps.
I will have folders at the picnic! I will have your snoods too Sara.

IndyandCleo I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beautiful Indiana. MVD claims entirely too many cavalier lives. I hope that the most recent research is as promising as it looks for MVD.

Adorable–since each of my cavaliers already has their own medical folder, I'd probably use it for all my reference material, ie. vaccination protocol, supplement info, etc. Then it would be more readily available when discussing different issues with the vet.
